/Brazilian Red & White-Nhandu Chromatus 7cm
Nhandu chromatus – Brazilian striped leg This is a large species of spider that originates from Brazil in South America. Another striking species that is black/brown in colour with long red setae on the abdomen, and lovely white striping on the legs. This is a terrestrial species that will need a hide to seek refugia. This species is often quite fast in its nature and has the ability to urticate (flick irritating hairs from its abdomen). These spiders require a temperature of 25 degrees C and a relative humidity of 70% - 80%. Although this species can move fast it can be recommended for beginners and the novice keeper.
