Delivery & Returns
We make every effort to ensure that the goods you ordered get to you undamaged and in a timely fashion. Please ensure you read the following in the event of a problem to ensure a quick resolution of any problems.
Delivery
The normal delivery time for the products are shown as part of their description. In summary, we offer Standard Delivery on all Live Food products and Reptile Invertebrates. For Fish and Reptiles, we use a standard courier (DX) for fast delivery and to allow appropriate transport of your animals.
We charge delivery on each product group that you order. For example, if you order one fish and one item of fish feed, we will apply the cost of transporting the the fish (which includes life support and is normally £25) as well as the standard delivery charge for the fish feed (normally £3.95 for standard delivery). In this instance, your total charge for delivery would be £28.95.

All orders will be shipped by recognised carriers or Royal Mail.

We are not responsible for any additional costs as a result of extended delivery times, unless we consent.

Next day/Special delivery option does not include bank holidays or weekends.

We aim to dispatch orders the same day (Monday - Friday, excluding bank holidays and weekends).

Limited orders are dispatched over weekends.

Live foods and live plants must be accepted on the first delivery attempt and cannot be replaced or refunded if they spoil due a missed delivery.

Royal Mail 24 Tracked - 1st class service that aims to deliver within 1 day of dispatch (not guaranteed).
DX
DX are the specialist couriers that we use for transporting Fish and Reptiles. Their website and terms can be found at https://www.dxdelivery.com.
If another courier is used, we will inform you of the details.
Returns
In the event that there is a problem with the goods, please contact us.
We must be informed of the problem with the order within 7 working days starting the day after delivery.
This does not effect your statutory rights.
